MOSCOW, Oct 5 (PRIME) -- Gas giant Gazprom has resumed supplies to its Italian clients through Austria, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Austrian operator notified Gazprom of its readiness to confirm transport orders, which allows the company to resume pumping through the country, Gazprom said.
On October 1, Gazprom stopped exports of natural gas through Austria because of denial of the Austrian operator to confirm transport nominations. The operator’s decision was connected to the regulatory changes that happened in Austria at the end of September, the gas giant said then.
